Another Spectacular event at Myrtle Beach Speedway! Saturday May 4th brought some killer action during Round 2 of the MB Drift Small Tire Series this 2019 season. This round welcomed MB Drift OG Tommy Ferrence as guest judge. Tommy, Joe Love, & Nate Roberts had their hands full as roughly 32 cars in attendance on Saturday. Over 40 cars on Sunday for the Open Practice day. 27 cars went into qualifying. Several OMT’s were needed, as tandem battles were intense! Ultimately crowning Derek Stevens the 1st place spot for competition. Daniel Selwa taking 2nd after winning round 1, and still keeping him as our #1 for the season in points.
Sunday was action packed all day with 40+ cars driving throughout the day. There were a few incidents with some tandem accidents, wall taps, and an electrical fire. Everyone was very safe & no one was injured, as track officials were hard at work over the weekend. It was a great turnout both days, and the action continues June 8th for Round 3. See you there at Myrtle Beach Speedway for MB DRIFT!
